I have been meaning to ask my mom if she still has the rocking chair that she rocked my brother and I in. I couldn't remember if it was in her house or not. So even after visiting with mom today and talking lots I still forgot to ask her about the rocking chair. I called her this evening and in fact she still has the rocking chair that her and my dad bought unfinished around the time I was born. My dad applied some sort of stain and sealer and it has lasted a long time and is in wonderful condition.
