Saylor's room make over

Until recently Saylor's room has been a rather dull uninteresting room. We knew early on that we wanted his room to have a nautical theme but we had a hard time finding things we liked for the room. The first thing we did find was a sail boat mobile and we found this when he was only a few months old.


so up it went in his room looking a bit out of place


in late June we picked out these two shades of blue
and Daddy worked hard to paint Saylor's room

Then this week we found this wonderful painting in a shop in Duncan. I love the sense of whimsy this artist has you can find more information about here her here Tails and Wings . This painting really captured our attention right away and we knew we wanted it for Saylor's room! The lobster even has pipe cleaners for antennae. There are a few more fun elements we have in Saylor's room that I will share soon.
