Today Ana (my mother) came to visit us for a couple hours and one of the activities Ana and Saylor did was play with play dough. Recently Saylor has been adding different materials to his play. Trucks, trains and cars and often driven through the play dough. Today instead of vehicles Saylor opened up a drawer in the dresser where we store the craft supplies and picked up a blue, green and yellow marker. He started to colour the play dough then he learned he can make holes with the tips both ends of the markets and the lids also make interesting designs. After those explorations he started to put the lids from the markers on his fingers.
